Programmer's Notes

We at the AoDR Festival are pleased to present this lovely animated short! Gender expression is a complicated issue for anyone to figure out, let alone a child. Add in the convoluted dealings of adults who put their own political grandstanding over the well being of their children, and it’s downright impossible. Adults claim that this experimentation is a new trend and that children are being coerced into changing their identity, but as this short proves, this desire to step outside the gender binary has existed for decades, and those courageous enough to take that first step are deserving of love and affection.
