This film was selected at the AoDR 2024 Festival, and was available between the 5th - 21st January, 2024.
Not only am I impressed from a technical and artistic standpoint by the richly textured, candy-colored production design and intricate stop-motion felt animation, but the earnest story also manages to show aspirational character growth within 10 minutes – without breaking your heart, but with a darkly comic final chuckle. PLUS musical numbers, and a 2-D animation within the animation. (And yes, to anyone who knows me well, it doesn’t hurt that the main character is a cat.)
