About the 2023 AoDR Deathies
The AoDR Deathies Awards are a light hearted fan event envisaging the reality of what it would be like if a bunch of passionate film fans voted on for the Oscars.
Members of The AoDR gather online on Discord and Reddit to discuss films, and our worldwide community of people of all ages, genders, and film preferences, come together to vote on the 23 Oscars Categories in 2023, as well as creating our own branches of the Academy of Death Racers, each of which create a longlist which is voted on internally to create a shortlist that goes forward to all members. This forms The Deathies (our affectionate name for the Awards given out (virtually) at our ceremony).
The 2023 Deathies are our third such ceremony, and this year will feature even more contributions from our hugely eclectic community.
